#5 Cycling The Nayarit Coast
HIGUERA BLANCA ROUTE
This ride takes you up the old coastal road that has recently been repaved and has almost no traffic. This is a great ride to get acclimatized to a little climbing. In fall until Spring we will sometimes take a turn and get off the beaten path on some lesser-known gravel roads. Depending on road access, we sometimes are able to stop at a hidden beach for a photo opp and then back to Bucerias.
#4 Sayulita Coffee Ride
SAYULITA CYCLING TOUR
This cycling tour extends past Higuera Blanca and allows you the opportunity to do two short but steady 2.5km climbs. This is a great ride to do before heading off into the bigger mountains. We will have a nice coffee break in Sayulita while taking in the energy of the town and maybe a quick beach pic and then a little cobble challenge before heading back to finish in Bucerias for a cold beer or glass of wine.

#3 Climb to El Tuito
One of our favourite rides. We drive from Bucerias to the beautiful bay of Boca de Tomatlan. From there we make our way from the jungle to a pine forest before starting a beautiful short descent to El Tuito. For those new to climbing, we have the option of going flipping at the “Bakery” where we all have some delicious “Pan Caliente”. We end the day back at Boca de Tomatlan with a beach BBQ of fresh catch of the day and ICE COLD BEER!
#2 The Bakery Ride
This is a ride into the high mountains. We drive from Bucerias to El Colorado where we begin a rolling to false flat ride over the course of 10 km to the town of Las Palmas. From there we begin this majestic climb into the heartland of Jalisco. The nature of the Sierra is an up and down profile that accumulates extra elevation and makes it a lot more challenging on the way back. We will finish with lunch at one of the best local restaurants in Jalisco
